When veterans leave the military, they often take valuable skills with them. But it can be difficult to figure out exactly how and where those skills will work in the private sector.
A new initiative aimed at helping active duty military members do just that is launching today in Washington state at the Joint Base Lewis-McChord. The program is a partnership between Starbucks’ founder Howard Schultz and Syracuse University’s Institute for Veterans and Military Families.
